Ignis

Last night I was awoken by a loud bang as the sky glowed amber, from out of my bedroom window I witnessed a roaring inferno and series of explosions as a recycling plant on Armley road was consumed by flames. My flatmate and I decided to go down to the road to get a better look. This was the first time that I had seen a fire of this scale and the events have left me with a new found respect for the power of nature. I took my camera along and managed to capture the fire at its peak and have sold the pictures to The Yorkshire Evening Post and The Times!
